Allandale Mansion
Today's picture features Kingsport, Tennessee's Allandale Mansion.
This stately home's Georgian architecture, ornate furniture, antiquities, fine art
and well-manicured grounds bring to mind
images of the old south, complete with loads of southern charm.
When Harvey and Ruth Brooks built Allandale Mansion in 1950, it was designed as a family home situated on a scenic 500 acre farm, not a museum or special event venue. But today, the city of Kingsport offers its use as both.
Allandale Mansion is a favorite venue for formal weddings & receptions,
bridal showers, anniversary parties, corporate meetings and much more. The
spacious and wonderfully decorated barn is often used for dances
and large gatherings.
The next time you find yourself in Kingsport, drop by 4444 West Stone Drive and
