Echinacea Purpurea
Type: Perennial
Coneflowers are native to the midwestern and southeastern sections the US.
Being very hardy flowering plants, coneflowers can get along just fine with little water.
Well suited for hot, dry weather, coneflowers do best in rich, well-drained soil and under the full sun or partial shade. They feature a long blooming period of June through October.
Mix coneflowers generously with other colorful flowers in your garden, along a fence row, or in a field and you'll have an exquisite view of your property.
