Native to Europe, Foxglove is now grown in many parts of the United States, especially the northeast and northwest sections of the country.
Foxglove features numerous flowers that grow along a "spike". Their colors range from lilac to a beautiful deep purple with several shades in between.
Since they favor cooler temperatures, Foxglove does best in partial shade. They will grow in full sun however. Sandy loam soil rich in nitrogen is preferred.
Foxglove blooms in most areas from early June to September. Their amazing beauty will add color and character to any flower garden!
