SPAM!! I hate it. You hate it. Even the spammers themselves hate it (even though they make tons of money sending it!)
SPAM emails have been proverbial thorns in the sides of computer users for decades, and an entire industry has been created just to prevent us from having to deal with it! But did you know that there is actually a good use for the SPAM messages that do make it into your Inbox or Junk Mail folder?
Every day spammers flood inboxes around the world with tons of junk emails hawking everything from debt consolidation services to inkjet cartridges to cheap mortgage deals. Why do they choose to hawk the particular products or services they’re trying to pawn off on you? Two reasons: They are in high demand, and they are extremely profitable.
Quickly glancing at the subject lines of your SPAM messages on occasion can give you some valuable insights into what’s hot in the marketplace at the moment. There is no reason to actually open the emails (in fact doing so can be quite dangerous). Simply scan the subject lines. Then do a little research and write some quality, truly useful articles on those topics or products and you’ll be adding some great money-making content to your blog.
Whether you choose to publish contextual ads or affiliate links, put those pesky SPAM emails to good use and you’ll see the earning potential of your blog just grow and grow and grow!
