Jason Mixing Pancake Batter
A few days ago, my young nephew Jason decided that he wanted pancakes for
dinner. His dad told him that was fine, but if he wanted pancakes he would have
to make them himself. Not a problem... After getting a little help from dad with
the ingredients, Jason sat down in the kitchen floor and went about the task of
mixing his pancake batter. He must have done an excellent job too because I hear
they were quite tasty!
Jason and his big brother Glen are two of the brightest kids around, and they
rank rather highly in the "cute" department as well - cameras absolutely love
them! When he was younger, Jason wasn't crazy about having his picture taken.
But now, he just loves to ham it up in front of a camera!
Their wonderful dad is a career navy man which means we don't get to see them
all that much, but that will change shortly when they move from Washington state
to the Washington, DC area. They still won't exactly be living "just down the
street" when they get to DC, but they will be within easy driving
distance. Maybe when they get here Jason will make me some of his delicious
pancakes!
