Ingredients:
Servings: Serves 4 to 6 people
4 lbs. chicken pieces
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup raisins or sultanas
1 TBS flour
1 stick (1/4 pound) butter
2 cups orange juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
Heat butter in a large skillet, and brown chicken.
Place chicken in crockpot after it is brown.
Combine all other ingredients, except flour, in the skillet.
Mix well and pour over chicken.
Cover pot, turn on low heat and cook for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender.
Remove one cup of sauce from pot and combine with flour, mixing well.
Return sauce flour mixture to the pot.
Turn pot on high heat and cook for an additional half hour.
