Wheelbarrow Decorated For Fall
My sister Helen and her husband Roger have just recently finished their new
home, and now they have turned their attention to decorating.
Yesterday's picture featured their new bridge
arbor, and today you can take a peek at a rustic wheelbarrow that Helen has
decorated for the fall season.
Helen loves her new home and she really enjoys making it and the yard look
great. She has planted flowers all over the place and strategically placed
antique farm implements and other items amongst them to create a distinctively
country motif. And it all looks great!
Of mom and dad's eight children, Helen is the only girl. Having to grow up right
smack in the middle of seven brothers resulted in her being somewhat of a
"tomboy" - she could run and jump and climb right along with her
brothers and male cousins, never missing a step. She could swim like a fish,
ride horses, you name it...if a boy could do it, so could Helen!
Helen loves the outdoors even today - working in her flowers, decorating, making
crafts...she stays as busy as ever. But nowadays she spends a lot of her time
with our wonderful mom,
taking her shopping, out to eat or just out for a relaxing drive.
Sometimes mom gets a little lonely with dad
no longer around, so we "kids" do our best to visit her whenever we
can and keep her busy - mom never did like just sitting around! Helen spends
more time with her than anyone else, and for that I'll always be grateful. That feisty
tomboy of times past has matured into a wonderful sister and loving daughter. We
all love her very much.
